What an amazing experience! Today Ty, Lachy, Matt and I guided our group through the Central Catchment Nature Reserve. Taking the time to walk through the catchment and connect with nature was a nice change of pace. Today was the groups first chance of experiencing Singapore’s wildlife in a natural environment. Traveling around in small packs , frequently snacking and sharing food I would not blame the locals for thinking the Catchment had a new species of Monkey passing through.

The Real Deal

Central Catchment Nature Reserve. Thoughts. Feelings. Questions.

Today I felt as though I was in nature. The real deal. I was surrounded by sights, smells and sounds familiar to me. Trees. Green. Sky. But this nature is different. I had to search for wildlife. I only saw a few. I heard things that did not fit. Things I was not used to. Cars. Trucks. Planes. This is different. Different to what I know.
